Quick Easy Pictorial Install

Here's a pictorial step-by-step-guide for installing the Electronic Library on your Windows® computer. It's fast. It's easy. You don't even have to type any arcane code to install this program. I want ANYONE to be able to EFFORTLESSLY install and be able to get the great benefits of using this mammoth Electronic Library.
Just a few mouse-clicks and you're done. And even if you've never installed anything, you'll be reading great words in less than 5 minutes. And that's about 1 minute to do the installation and 4 minutes to wade through all my pictures on this page. : )

Step 1. Look at your desktop.

Notice the little computer called "My Computer" Well, double click it to open it.

Step 2. Now you're looking at the contents of your "My Computer."

Your "My Computer" probably has less "things" in it than mine, but for sure you have a C: drive (that's your main hard disk), an A: drive (that's your floppy) and a CD ROM drive (most likely, your D: drive).

Anyway, it really doesn't matter how many drives you have because all you're going to do is double click your CD ROM drive to look inside it. And, like mine, yours should 1) show an ICON of a CD disc, and most likely it will say DAK_WLOTF_v6 under it. So double click it now.

Step 3. (Isn't this easy so far?) Look at what's in the CD ROM drive.
OK there are 3 things that you're going to be interested in.
1. The README File.

I've put a README file right here that gives you installation instructions, a complete copy of the on-line manual and some other hints and tricks. You can double click it now or any time in the future to read this information. It will automatically open with your Windows® NOTEPAD when you click it.
2. The SecretSite LINK.

This is your link to the Secret Site. Just double click this Web page ICON now or anytime in the future to access the Freebooks5000.com Secret Site to get your extra information, hints, tricks, goodies and lots more that nobody else can see. When you double click this WebPage ICON, your browser will automatically activate and then you can go to the Secret Site. There are instructions for connecting right on the page.
3. OK LET'S INSTALL THE LIBRARY!

Finally, it's time to install the program. Just double click the Winsetup ICON. Now, you're just a few clicks away. So double click it NOW.

Step 4. Begin.

Wow, I bet you thought we'd never get here. Well, all you need to do is click "Begin" and in just a few seconds you'll be told that the program is installed. Click the two OK buttons that will appear (I've only shown one) and the program is installed.

NOTE: IF you look back over what I've written, I think you'll see that you really could have installed this program without me in about 1-2 minutes. : )

Step 5. Make it Better.

Here's the Icon you click to actually Launch and start using the Library. You can do it now, or if you're like me, you may want to put a "shortcut" to launch the library from your desktop.

I like to do this so I can get quick access without having to go to the Start Menu to launch the Library. Plus, you can simply hit delete to eliminate the shortcut at any time, so why not go ahead and make it now?

Step 6 Making A ShortCut.

So, you've never made a shortcut? Well, no problem. It's something we should all know how to do. Simply position your cursor over the ICON and RIGHT-CLICK your mouse. When you right-click your mouse, you get the menu that I've pictured. Simple?

Step 7. Sending Your ShortCut To Your DeskTop.

OK, just move your cursor up the menu till you get to "Send_To". Then you'll see an additional submenu appear. Move your cursor out to "Desktop (create shortcut)" and Click. It's just that simple.

You'll instantly find a new shortcut on your desktop that you can use from now on. You can do this for any of your programs for instant access. And as I said earlier, just highlight any shortcut and hit delete if you ever want it to go away.

8. So Let's Enjoy A Good Book!

This is it. The moment we've been waiting for. Click or Double Click your Library Icon and gain access to all 5000 of the great titles which you now possess on your very own computer.
